Natural Toners and Lotions
Lotions are applied to the face after washing your face with a facial cleanser as treatment tonic to close and tone facial pores. Store bought lotions these days contains many processed herbs and beneficial additives but usually also boost alcohol base that may excessively dry up the skin, causing the skin to create more sebum to make up for the dryness.
A way to avoid alcohol is to make your own lotions. Homemade lotions can be as potent as store bought lotions but the downside to them is that they have a very short shelf live and usually require one to use them fresh or kept in a sealed container for 1- 2 days before they expire. So it is sensible to make small portions.
